About Me

My name is Micah and I'm a software developer. I'm into a lot of different tech, including but not limited to:

• Deployment Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD with Gitlab's built-in pipeline.
• Languages: Python, Java, C/C++, Typescript and other adjacent languages.
• Databases: Mongo obviously, SQL Server (Azure), and DB2 if I'm forced.
• Cloud Providers: Digital Ocean and Azure
• Server-side: node, express, tomcat, springboot, hibernate
• Client-side: angular/angular material and bootstrap

In my spare time I am learning piano, I run, I love football (soccer) and obviously, I like programming.

I have had the privilege of traveling around the world for work and now, have settled into my home town of London (the real one in Ontario).

Ezqs - A Restaurant Pager Webapp

Want to disperse that crowd or line? Need an easier way to let your people know when their stuff is ready? Try ezqs. Ezqs is a mobile app that functions as a restaurant-type pager system. As a provider you can create work queues and orders that will notify your consumers when their order is complete.

Ezqs is a cloud-native web app that integrates with most devices to provide easy notification when an order or work item is ready. There is no software to install and I'm always looking for feedback.

Niche Canadian Entertainment?

You bet. Here are two Kodi addons. One exceptionally niche, one not so niche:

• Canadian Broadcasting Corp (CBC) - a CBC Gem client. Available from the main addons repo and source in GitHub.
• OneSoccer - a client for the streaming service (subscription required). Available from the my repo and source in GitHub. It doesn't get much more niche than that.

They Might Be Giants - Android App

I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to work on the Android frontend app for the greatest band of all time: They Might Be Giants. There were so many great people involved over the years on this project and I'm happy to have been included.
